From Blind Spots to Smart Response: Reinventing Perimeter Surveillance for a Leading Industrial Site

A large industrial client, responsible for high-value manufacturing and logistics, was experiencing mounting challenges with its perimeter surveillance systems. Motion sensors triggered alarms constantly, especially during windy nights or animal activity. Operators were overwhelmed, unable to distinguish real threats from noise. In one case, an intruder entered a loading dock area through an unmonitored blind spot between two sensor zones. The incident wasn’t detected until morning. In another, alarms were ignored after too many false positives earlier in the shift. The surveillance system was generating data, but not usable intelligence.
